The choice of places to eat throughout East Anglia in general, and the Norfolk Broads in particular, is both extensive and varied. From the 5-star, cordon-bleu establishment to those internationally famous burger bars; the entire spectrum is there to be sampled.
The Norfolk Broads is particularly well endowed with delightfully attractive, riverside eating places; usually centuries-old pubs. If you arrive by boat you simply tie-up at the quayside and step ashore, straight into the bar. With perhaps one exception, the Berney Arms, you can reach these riverside pubs by car, albeit along somewhat narrow country lanes; usually loved, but sometimes feared, by overseas visitors.
